Seth Thomas Clock Co. "Hecla", 1884. An oak case with an old finish and an old, stenciled door glass.Has a painted dial that has the ST logo and has some chips.The hands are correct. The 8-day, time, strike, and chime movement is signed and running. Strikes the quarter-hours with a 'ding-dong' strike on two nested bells behind the gong base, once, twice and third on the first, second, and third quarter-hour. It strikes the hours on the cathedral gong. Only a couple of ST models use this movement (Hecla, Atlas, Marcy). There is a black label on the bottom and the bob is damascened.
