Vintage Antique Hexagonal 2 Tube Neon Clock -- EXCELLENT CONDITION
Vintage Antique Hexagonal 2 Tube Neon Clock -- EXCELLENT CONDITION
SOLD $1,799.99 Sold: Feb 26, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
You are buying a vintage hexagonal neon clock with two tubes in perfect operational condition. This vintage neon clock has been hanging in our kitchen since 2005, when I put it up. It keeps perfect time and lights brightly with no buzzing. The time set knob works and there is a pull-chain switch to turn the neon on or off.I can't find a makers mark on the front of this clock, but from the shape and style I think it might have been made by the Neon Display Company of New Jersey, sometime in the 1930's or 1940's.I'm sorry not to be able show photos of the back, insides, etc., but I can't get this clock down to take such pictures (see below). BTW: The small green ring seen on the face of the clock in the second photo is a reflection from another neon clock. You may arrange to see this clock in person if you contact me through eBay.I will be reducing the price of this rare clock each week until it sells. Best grab it before someone else does.Shipping neon is impractical due to its fragility, especially for a clock like this one which is large and heavy with an exposed neon tube around the outside. There are no shipping services that will insure neon, and many won't even accept it. So this clock is offered only for free local pickup in Bend, Oregon. At my age (78) I can no longer safely climb a ladder to remove this clock. So the buyer will be responsible for taking down the clock and for any damage to the clock during that process. I can provide a ladder. TERMS & CONDITIONS I don't have a lot of silly rules for buyers: Pay for your item and I'll send it you. I've been a buyer and a seller on eBay for more than 25 years and have a near perfect feedback record. I'll trust you and you can trust me to do right.Local pickup only. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
Note: This item has been sold and is no longer available. This page serves as a historical price reference for clocks collectors and appraisers.
