Restored!USA made version!1 13/16" tall1 9/16" wide1" deep InFamous Iconic Historic ThE Most Important Timepiece in History.ThE Accutron 214.NOTHING else compares.LONG before Omega hitched a ride... on the coattails of Accutron...This was in Space.In Satellites.On Astronaut's wrists.In Rockets.Then Omega bought a ticket to ride...Back Set!Electro Magnetic Tuning Fork!The first successful, and BEST, Electronic Timepiece Beautiful "low mileage," numbers matching, vintage classic!The only timepiece that MUST be in every Watch Lovers collection!The Caliber 214 Tuning Fork movement Cleaned and detailed the exterior Cleaned the crystal (inside and out) and the hands Disassembled cleaned, and oiled the friction points and regulated the timingto run properly on the modern inexpensive long lasting 1.55v 387S battery!Very nice condition of all of it.Original USA made Accutron 214 movement.This has been adjusted to run "Dead on balls accurate," as Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny) would say. No need for any "tricks" or add ons that might upset the Coil Assembly.Why "Fix it if it ain't broken?"No need for changes to the Electronics Fully serviced mechanicals DEEP cleaned Friction points and setting crown oiled!New "Clark" 735 & 736 Battery and Case Gaskets installed.Fully cleaned the case including battery cover and back set crown Incredible original, classic Bad Arse combination! This has a well patina-ed vintage genuine Accutron crystal (not a reproduction) and new hands on it.I disassembled the caseback elements, gently "polished" everything including the locking nut, deep cleaned and greased the adjustment crown. As it SHOULD be!Classic understated timepiece. Looks great on the desk or on the lady's makeup table.A real "jewel!"No need to alter and stress the electronics on this beauty... thereby devaluing it!This beauty starts right up... no need for the "Love Tap!"Why "coat" the Coils... adding stress and trapping the windings and limiting movement?70% of the Coil issues are on the Battery side (due to owners using incorrect batteries back in the day)... NOT the Component side!Stop wasting time over-bidding Frankensteined FAKES, from the U.K., when you can have the genuine article.Why buy an over "engineered" parts bin mess from a part-time "hobbyist" who throws together a multitude of parts?What value does that have now... much less in the future?!
