Ingraham "Ducat" Kitchen Gingerbread Shelf Clock Ingraham "Ducat" Kitchen Gingerbread Shelf Clock Click images to enlarge Description This sweet clock was made by the Ingraham Clock Company of Bristol, CT. The model is the Ducat. Ducat was a coin (usually gold) that was used for trading from 13th century to 19th in Europe. In America it is a "Ticket" to enter a show. Oak case that is in great condition, floral carved decor, metal flower focal point , and cute acorn finials hanging down the sides. Original paper dial that is in fair condition, black Roman numerals, and alarm in center. 8 day time and strike. Every half hour strikes on a cathedral gong, and then every hour counts out the hour. See video below for demonstration of strike. Movement has been completely overhauled and is in guaranteed running condition. Seperate alarm that strikes on a bell. (very loud) Reversed silver silkscreen glass that is in a tropical design. Long ago someone installed a hanger, we left it.
