Large Industrial French Style Animated Locomotive Train Clock ****
Large Industrial French Style Animated Locomotive Train Clock ****
SOLD $1,750.00 Sold: Feb 8, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
eBay You are bidding on a French Industrial style animated locomotive clock. It measures ~19 inches long, 91/4 inches wide, ~18 inches high and weighs little over 43 pounds (dimensions weight include base). I received this clock from a local estate without a key. I was able to wind up the clock and wheel mechanism with a tool that I had (no key is included, buyer needs to obtain a key). The clock runs, bell strikes on each hour, both sides of wheels start turning and they stop after full turn. There is a slightly dis-figured spring under the train (please see the 12th pic). It is missing its thermometer (no tube), its barometer seems to work. Clock mechanism on the back reads; made in France 1774. Please note that this is a reproduced automated locomotive clock. The train sits on an Alabaster-? base that has some scratches (please see the 13th pic). Please note that its clock/wheel mechanisms may need some work once received by the buyer. Due to its nature/limited testing, it is sold as is, please bid accordingly. Please view pictures for details. Buyer pays $0.00 S/H for the lower 48 US -street address (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico will have additional charges). International shipping via Ebay's Global Shipping Program. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
