eBay This listing is for a rare antique Swiss or Austrian wall clock. This lovely clock dates to the 19th century and is an example of superb craftsmanship This piece is a crossover between art and mechanical technology The front facade is a hand painted landscapes scene of a mountain village with castle and waterwheelThe clock tower doubles as an actual clock. A lever on the side reveals 2 hidden winding arbors. The scene is extremely alluring as it is animated with automata automaton functions. On the left hand side, another lever reveals another hidden winding arbor. When wound, the water wheel spins, blacksmith’s arm moves, the fireplace spins, and the water appears to fall.
