eBay Vintage Seth Thomas Starburst Wall Clock Mid Century Modern MCM 1960s - Reburbished with New Movement1960s production. Atomic era design Impressively sized at 26inches in diameter tip to tip.The original movement (non-working) has been replaced (January 2024) with a top-of-the-line USA made TAKANE battery powered Quartz movement (takes 1 AA battery - not included due to shipping regulations). The movement is nearly silent, has an off-on switch, and a thumb dial so the analog time can be set without touching the delicate clock hands. Tested and working, keeps accurate time.The clock's frame is fitted with an aperture for easy hanging on the wall. The rays are substantial, sawn from solid wood, with minor signs of wear here and there. I included images of the front faces of all the wood rays so you can view their condition as viewed when the clock is on the wall. The metal parts of the clock frame and dial have age toning and wear commensurate with age. Please view the images in closeup and ask for additional information or images if desired. I ship promptly and am experienced safely packing shipping large vintage clocks.I allow 3 days shipping time to prepare these large fragile clocks for safe shipping. The packaging is quite involved as you might guess to protect these objects as they travel through the UPS system. Generally my large packed Starburst clocks weigh between 12 and 14 pounds completely ready to ship, depending on size and materials employed in the clock's manufacture.
