This auction is for a Antique circa 1920s, Art Deco TV Lamp with a Lux, Key-Wind Clock set into a fancy aluminum Waterbury Case. We have searched the internet and we were unable to find another example of this Lamp Clock, so it must be very Rare. Measuring 14 1/2" tall to the top of the cut glass panel by 13 1/2" wide by 6" deep this Art Deco Clock Lamp is in very good working condition. At the top is a large fountain, coming out of intertwined fish and below them two Pegasus surrounded by Art Deco ray designs. On either side of the base are two small lights with matching smaller fountains, however the fountain on the left has an old repair, and a small piece missing to one of the sides. This is hardly noticeable as it faces the inside. All three porcelain light sockets are in very good working condition, (we were able to test them but then the wire started smoking so we do not have a picture of this lamp lite up.) This lamp has to be rewired before using in your home as there is plastic coating has deteriorated and there is exposed wires. The larger light uses a standard light bulb and the two smaller lights use smaller night or Christmas light bulbs. All seven pieces of cut back, white overlay glass panels are in very good condition aside for a couple of very tiny flecks. They slip into a classic, detailed cast aluminum Art Deco base. We wound the clock and it does work, however it did stop running after a while. I'm sure it needs a cleaning and maybe and adjustment to keep good time once again. The brass clock case and face are in good condition, however there is some dust behind the original beveled glass.
