eBay ConditionThe Spring seems to slip when winding Alarm Key. The Clock (Center) Key winds up perfectly and the timer appears to work fine. May be someone can repair the Left (Key) Alarm Spring. Nice Clean unit. The clock movement and timer works. No cracks, or damage, No scratches on glass dial face or plastic timer. TPlease look at the pictures closely and see the near perfect condition of the clock case.Selling for parts or repair. SOLD AS IS - NO RETURNS The clock has a two (2) hour timer dial and a 30hr. clock movement below. A large round knob sets the timer from 0 to 120 minutes. Marked on the front of the case is OFF and ON for the alarm. The clock and the alarm both wind from the back of the clock/timer. And on the back is a small knob for setting the time.This clock come's from a fine estate sale in Indianapolis, Indiana and is one of the many fine historic pieces that was purchasedNoguchi acclaimed Artist ,Landscape Architect, and industrial designer recently identified the Hawkeye's curvaceous and very modern looking case design as his work. The identification tag on the back identifies this one as a Model " L " made by the Stevenson Mfg. Co. of La Porte. This unit was available in black and white Bakelite, and with either a wind- up or electric movement, Patents for both movements were held by Chester R, Grams and date to 1931 and 1934. According to the Noguchi Foundation ,this Timer was Noguchi's first mass produced design, completed ca. 1932. It predates his design for the "Radio Nurse" baby monitor by five years. The Hawkeye Measured time/clock is an interesting part of our history when Americans traveled across this Great Nation of ours on Steam Locomotive Trains. I find this clock fascinating to be part of that History.
