This is just an amazing clock, the finish on this clock is original and the tone of the finish is just worn perfectly to look like a million bucks! You just can't reproduce this look, it just takes A LOT of time. This clock has ALL of the appeal, and in my opinion, I haven't seen a better-looking ST Fashion Clock. Good Luck, make sure you watch it run in the video! This clock is a Southern Calendar Clock Co. "Fashion No 4" produced c. 1875-1889. These clocks were sold door to door and even financed by the Southern Calendar Clock Co. The clocks were manufactured by Seth Thomas for the Southern Calendar Clock Co. and were advertised to run 100 years!! Obviously, they were serious as many are still functional today! This clock is in impeccable condition and is in perfect working order. The clock has signed repainted dials, original Andrews Calendar Mechanism and Seth Thomas Signed Movement. The Movement reads "Manufactured by Seth Thomas Clock Co. Solely for the use of The Southern Calendar Clock Co. St. Louis."As you can see in the pictures the case happens to be as you can see in the pictures, the case is in phenomenal condition! This is not a typical Ebay offering, these clocks are rarely auctioned in this condition, but we will be letting this one go to the highest bidder starting at only $1. This clock is ready to be placed in a room and command attention! What a fantastic instant family heirloom! The huge Walnut Case is approx. 32 inches. The clock is running and striking properly, sounding the time hourly and very loudly on a huge bell. The Seth Thomas Signed dial are 7 1/2 inches with original Spade hands. The Calendar Movement is fully intact and will need to be set up by someone familiar with the Andrews Perpetual Calendar Mechanism.
