Jaeger LeCoultre Swiss Atmos Clock, Model 526-5. Looks Great. Works Great.
SOLD $650.00 Sold: Dec 7, 2023 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
eBay Caliber/Model 526-5. Serial number 101993. Manufactured in 1957. Has very minor blemishes in the finish from age. No other problems. True to the Atmos reputation, it is precise, smooth, and elegant. And of course, never needs winding! It will need to be setup carefully, taking measures to ensure it’s perfectly level and stable as they are delicate. Make sure to keep the pendulum lock lever engaged until ready to start it. It will be shipped with the pendulum locked in the apex or peak of its rotation so it should not require a push or any other help when the lock is released. If the clock needs to be moved, even for a short nudge, the same method should be used to lock it again. Wait until it’s just stopped rotating to one direction and then engage the lock. If these procedures are done properly, It should perform beautifully. It was observed for more than a week and it kept accurate time. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
