The beautiful mahogany case has a decorative brass handles on both sides of the case for transport, and with its tiered case with 4 brass finials, one of the largest Seth Thomas Bracket Clocks ever made. It measures approximately 18 inches high, with a moving moon arch top roman numeral dial. It has a heavy signed solid brass plate 8 day movement signed by Seth Thomas, Talley, and Germany. It has a nest of 9 brass bells and plays chimes every quarter hour, one of which is westminister chimes. After chiming the hour, it then strikes the appropriate hours.
