eBay Atmos Perpetual Motion Clock Square Face Caliber 528-8 15 jewel places it on or about 1967. The serial number is 225-401 which was manufactured between July 1965-August 1967. This clock is from the estate of a friends father that passed away many years ago. She told me that it was a retirement gift from his company in 1967. The clock was stored away for probably 50 plus years in the original box and never used. It is unknown if it was ever cleaned and serviced. You may wish to have it serviced after you receive it. She does remember the clock sitting out briefly in their home but her mother did not like it so she had her husband pack it up and put it away. I removed it from the original box and leveled it, and engaged the pendulum and has kept time over the past few week. Inside of case is very nice and clean with no signs of corrosion. The glass is all original with no chips. I recommend that you read up on this clock so that you know how to set it up. Do not engage the pendulum until you know what to do as this will throw the clock out of adjustment. Clock currently works and is being sold as such. The clock will be packed in the original Styrofoam box that it was removed from. It will be doubled box to possibly prevent any damage. Delivery will be by either USPS or UPS and will be insured for the selling price. I was not able to locate the original paperwork "seems like he would had left it in the box". I have printed instructions on setting up your clock and will include them in the box. I will also be adding a pair of white cotton gloves to handle the clock. I am not a clock expert nor claim to be and can only give a general narrative of the clock. It has been inspected and found to have no cracks or chips in the glass. It is always possible to find a defect later but to my knowledge there is none. The clock is listed as used but I would consider it new since it was only used briefly. Please review all pictures. If more pics are needed contact me. Adjustment: Clocks are very delicate instruments and may require adjustment after shipment. The vibration during shipment may cause it to go out of beat.
