Vtg BEAUTIFUL Lackner Neon Glo Bakelite Electric Clock Art Deco WORKING!!!
SOLD $699.99 Sold: Sep 1, 2023 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
eBay Up for sale is a Vtg BEAUTIFUL Lackner Neon Glo Bakelite Electric Clock Art Deco WORKING!!! This clock is in excellent working condition and is fully functional and keeps time well. I tested this clock over a 3-day period and it kept the time to the minute without any problems. It has a slow sweep seconds hand which continually moves and does not tick. The neon aspect of clock works and is a light blue/white in color and is very cool. It is not as bright as it probably once was, but it still works nonetheless. There is a switch on the back of the clock which you can use to turn on/off the neon function. The bakelite frame of clock is in excellent condition with no damages at all, no chips or cracks or breaks or repairs. There is minimal wear to the clock frame and exterior, this piece was kept and stored well. The only issue with this piece is the clock glass face has some internal flaking of paint on the glass and some discoloration from time. The art deco numbers are all still in great shape but the white painted background has started to flake. This is a pretty easy repair but does require a re-paint, which I did not want to do as I wanted to keep this piece all original. The clock measures in at 8 7/8" wide, 3" deep, and 7 7/8" tall. It all weighs in at 4 pounds, 0.9 ounces total.FREE SHIPPING and SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION with your purchase!!!Any questions just ask, thanks for looking! (Condition: Pre-Owned)
Note: This item has been sold and is no longer available. This page serves as a historical price reference for clocks collectors and appraisers.
