eBay This listing is for a gorgeous Francis I era (early 19th century) portico clock.This clock features an architectural case with ormolu detailing, gilt cherubs, alabaster columns, and Biedermeier style wooden inlay. The movement is a grande sonnerie, with separate bell strikes for the quarter hour and the hour.12.75 x 6.5 x 21.5 inches This clock is in overall good condition. The colors are still vibrant and are quite eye catching.There are a couple of imperfections from normal age and wear. The front right column was missing a piece of the alabaster upper pediment and so a replacement piece was made. The back right column is missing part of the ormolu detailing on its base. The back mirror has a hairline fracture through it, but it is in tact. The movement was last serviced in 2014. It ran when we recently tested it. Please note that any mechanical clock that is shipped might require minor adjustments upon arrival.
