eBay Early German or Austrian striking ebonized bracket clock @ 1750. This clock came out of an estate recently, where it had been maintained and in regular use. Beautiful Baroque period ebonized pearwood bracket clock in good original as found condition measuring 18 1/2" tall (with the handle up) x 12 1/4" wide x 6 1/4" deep. The case is solid and good and retains its original ebonized finish with wear. The top bale handle appears original. Original feet. The fancy brass dial amazing. It's a beautiful brass dial which is original to the movement. Great original hands, with the hour hand having a great early, probably 18th Century repair. The 30 hour two train movement strikes the hours on its original bell. The movement is complete and intact with good mainsprings, and runs well, keeping good time with its original verge escapement, and striking correctly, but is sold without any warranty. Great early clock! No reserve. Please see my other auctions this week for another German signed ebonized Baroque bracket clock from this same estate. UPS ground shipping in the continental USA will be $75.00 (Condition: Pre-Owned)
