It would have been a little taller, but the tip of the top carved crest is missing. This Victorian Ithaca Parlor Calendar Clock is a No. 3 ½ and is constructed from Walnut with carved Ebony accents. It has a brass 8-day spring driven movement with hour strike on a silvered bell. There is a “count wheel strike mechanism” and the original silvered, etched glass pendulum. At the top is 4-inch clock dial with pierced spade silvered hands and at the bottom is a 7-inch, 31 day calendar dial with silvered date numbers, plus a revolving day and month window. All this is original and the brass bezels have the original glass. On the back are two replaced wood backboards …. I am not a knowledgeable clock dealer especially on a complicated clock like this. Both springs are wound tight and when I attached the pendulum it did work for a minute before stopping. I advanced the minute hand and it did strike, but the hammer needs adjusting to strike the bell.
