This movement is a strike/repeat model with alarm function made in France circa 1880 . The clock strikes hourly and half hourly, pressing the button on top rings the hour of the day, the timepiece is in a super condition. The lower dial is to set the alarm function Beautiful Carriage Clock sold by H. Muhr's Sons which was a retail store in Philadelphia located at 633 Chestnut Street. In addition to selling clocks and watches, Muhr's was known for making cases (as well as fine silver products), and was one of the exhibitors at the 1893 Columbian Exposition. <br />Henry Muhr ran his own shop in
