Up for auction is this really nice Antique Black Forest cuckoo quail clock in the (Fox & Grapes Theme). The clock was made between the late 1910’s - 1920’s by the company of A. Maier, Germany. The carvings are very well done with nice full dimensional clusters of grapes, fox and crow. There are some old repairs to the crown near the base and wing of the bird, which are hard to notice. (See Pictures) Some of the leaves have tip chips from age. The 30 hour cast brass movement, signed A. Maier Germany, runs well. The pendulum has a nice healthy sweep to it. The move
