Very rare WW 2 explosion proof clock. Removed from the Joliet Army Ammunition Plant in Elwood, IL during demolition in 1998. Built circa 1938 and opened in 1940. Over 50000 acre facility. Clock measures 17.5" in diameter X 7" deep overall. The clock ring with glass face is a 4" projection and mechanical housing off the back of the clock has a 3" projection The glass face has a 13" diameter. 110 V 3 Watts 60 cycles. You can buy the same clock today through the same manufacturer with a different face and housing for over $4
