This is part of my father's estate. He built this from a kit a number of years ago and it has picked up a beautiful patina in its rich oak case. There is a small crack along the grain that is located in the door but it is very slight and seems to go away during the summer as the wood tends to expand. The Hermle movementkeeps very accurate time, was maintained very well and the movement was oiled just prior to his passing. The Westminster chimes are very melodic and ring out the quarter, half and three-quarter hours along with the hour. This is a beautiful w
