Up for sale is this Antique Cast Bronze Grandfather Clock Bell Signed Blake Bell Co, Boston Mass, on the underside. Bell was an apprentice of Paul Revere and at one time a partner with Paul Revere III. Bell is thicker and heavier than its English competitors. Bell sounds will vary greatly depending on how you mount & strike it, I was able to produce a nice crisp sound, though perhaps not as resonating. Shows a fair amount of wear, please view all 12 photos for measurements and condition.
