I've owned this Chelea #1 wall regulator, pendulum hanging clock since 1974. Now its time to find it a new home. This is serial # 39470 and Chelsea's record book shows that it was sold to the E. Howard Clock Company on November 21, 1908. From there it was sold to the NYC Board of Education and the Chelsea dial was replaced with an aluminum dial as were most of these clocks sold to the school system. The clock hung in a school on Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, NY until the schools converted to electric clocks. I purchased it from a retired school principal in 1974. <br />This clock has an 8 da
