do justice to this beautiful Bucherer Imhof Swiss brass “Striking” clock that I just
found in a local estate. It was found
wrapped in soft cloth and apparently had been put away for many years. It is about 5.75 inches wide and 4.25 inches
tall. When wound up, it works GREAT –
including the most lovely soft “chimes” on the hour (striking once for 1
o’clock, twice for 1 o’clock, etc.) and once on the half hour. I didn’t test it closely for accuracy, but it
seems to keep good time (and has an adjustmen
