<br />Early Winterhalder & Hoffmeier Table Clock-Time Only,Offset Winder circa 1860Marked 'W&H Sch' Oak Case w/Veneer 9.5"x 7.5"x 4.5"<br />A very upper middle class clock, early in the incarnation of Winterhalder & Hoffmeier, with no features other than that fine German mechanism and fancy woods. This would have cost a bit more than a base model with the fancy wood grains and decorative case.The marks are consistent with 1869 at the latest, when they were changed to reflect the sons additions to the firm.The offset winders are said to be earlier versions of the all brass mod
