Up for auction is this beautiful antique Black Forest Cuckoo Quail clock by Alexander Fleig, AF, circa 1905. The carving on this clock is gorgeous, the detail work is amazing. The 30 hour cast brass movement, stamped AF, is in running condition and functions as it should. The bellows are old and although they function should be recovered. The quail bellow has already been recovered but should be in leather. The double wire gongs have a soft chime sound like that of a mantle clock. The gongs are mounted on a heavy iron base which give it a soft resonating sound. The movement l
