It was Made during the 20th Century after Jean-Henri Riesener during the reign of Louis XVI. The Bronze casting on the clock itself is signed with a Beautiful finish of Museum quality. It has a nice Lyre shaped Pendulum & Westminster Chimes with a Glass Window at the center of the door. The Dial is nicely Gilded with Porcelain Roman Numerals & 3 separate Keyholes to wind the clock. It has Beautiful Lion Paw Feet with Faux Tortoise Inlays in an Ebonized Lacquer Finish Case. The Clock has its original Franz Hermle Movement with Hammer Rods & Chime Rods. The Clock is in working order, sounds great, and comes with its key. It is all original and we recommend it to be serviced at your discretion.
