Nice Vintage Sligh 0555-1-WI Triple Chime Wind Up Mantel Clock 125th Anniversary
This is an incredible piece! The movement is signed Franz Hermle 1050-021. The glasses are all good and nicely beveled. The key is included. This clock is a limited edition 125th anniversary clock. It has been running and chiming nicely however the last service date is unknown so it is being sold as is. The clock has three chime settings and a silent setting. They are beautiful sounding. The chime options are Westminster, St. Michael, and Whittington. All the chime rods and hammers are good. It will need set up and adjustment after shipping as all mechanical clocks do. Sligh Westminster Mahogany and Marquetry Mantel Clock German Hermle Movement. Vintage Sligh Signed "Sligh" Mantel Clock has a German signed "Franz Hermle" movement. The brass weekly wind movement is jeweled and keeps excellent time. A lever controls silent, St. Michael's, Whittington or the familiar Westminster Chime tunes.An ascending measure of each melody plays on quarter hour and the hour is counted as well on the resonant chimes. The mahogany case has a superb glossy finish with inlaid satinwood and ebony marquetry. A lavish dial has gold numerals and filagree on this vintage clock.I purchased it in 90's--one owner. Vintage TREND Mantel Clock This is a very nice mantel clock made by Sligh. It is style no. 722-349 ; Movement no. 106 ; Pack no. 319/29. The actual movement is stamped Franz Hermle West Germany 350-020, 2 jewels. The clock is in very good condition, keeps time and chimes every quarter hour. The outside is painted beautifully and the flowers and birds are slightly raised. Clasp on the door is broken but it stays closed on level surfaces.
