E Howard Model 11 Grain Painted Clock
NEW LISTING. This is a very pretty grain-painted keyhole Model No. 11 E HOWARD clock. It is sad for me to let go of this pretty clock but I’m 89 and live in a small apartment. It is being offered at a low price as I also need the cash.The grain-painted case is fabulous. I bought this 45 years ago at a museum clock auction in Boston and it has been in storage until a couple of years ago when I had it professionally serviced. I wish that I had kept the catalog and purchase records but I didn’t. The pendulum stick is not original but it looks original. The clock keeps perfect time when the bob is close to the end of the pendulum stick. It is missing the weight backboard. One of the photos shows what appears to have been a break at some time in the top door. It has the original grain painting. I had not noticed it until I was preparing this description for eBay. The latch does not click when door is closed but it is complete and not damaged. The price includes professional packing and shipping from Oklahoma City. I will deliver the clock to there.If there are questions or have a request for specific photos please ask. Height is 31.25 inches; width is 13.5 inches, and depth is 3.5 inches. French Empire Egyptian Revival Orientalist Partial gilt Bronze Marble Clock St
This is a fabulous 19th century 3 piece Egyptian Revival clock set. It is made of black marble, bronze and gilt bronze and onyx. Beautifully chased sphinx sits on top and 2 winged griffins flank each side. Hieroglyphics on front onyx. This is the only version that I have seen of this clock set that comes with a pair of great candelabra. The set is in very good condition except for some slight chipping along the front bottom edge of the clock, a hairline crack in one of the onyx pieces in the front, and a crack in the marble at the back of one of the candelabra. Can send close-up photos if requested. E F Caldwell & Co. Wall Clock Bronze "TEMPUS FUGIT" Time Flies!
Make a strong offer and own this today!Fabulous E F Caldwell & Company Bronze wall hanging clock. Works very well. A unique clock with the motto "TEMPUS FUGIT" in a bronze ribbon at top of the clock. Very heavy piece. Unusual in that to access the clock for winding, the entire mechanism swings out on a hinge. The face appears very clean with one small scratch to the glass near the 12. Look at the cool "hour glass" design on the sides. Clock is 12.5" tall x 11.5" across. Winds and works well. Little winding key device is missing a tiny screw but it does stay in place. Works are 15 jewels and marked H.Barbezat-Bole S.A, Swiss Movement. Face is marked EDW. F. CALDWELL & CO. INC. A search of the E F Caldwell archives at the Smithsonian indicates that the clock was produced by Caldwell in 1919.
