This is a vintage cuckoo clock. Very elaborate. The label reads: "Romance". Made in Switzerland by Reuse. Edelweiss Froehliche Wanderer. No. 3883, Germany. Large in size. Measurements: 56 cm high, 49 cm wide, and 25 cm deep. This clock only needs a little care to work properly. The minute hands are not connected; it includes three acorn weights, a pendulum, and a hanging hook. Lightly restored. Sold as is.All parts are available, weights, pendulum, hands, it's just a matter of cleaning, oiling, placing the weights and hands. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

Downsizing and just don't have space for this beautiful heirloom piece purchased from one of the famous German clock shops many years ago.Beautifully detailed with many animated elements. Most pieces are attached but there are a couple of pieces that are free standing hand carved pieces: like the little animals and the man on the far left of the clock in front of a tree.All the original chains and the 3 heavy weights are included as shown in pics.The Cuckoo clock is named, "Der Frohliche Wanderer 3883. It is labeled Edelweiss R Rodgers and has a Swiss musical movement. The bottom of the clock has a Certificate of Authenticity from the Association of Black Forest ClocksThe clock will be carefully wrapped along with all of its elements and Full insurance will be required with signed delivery. Wow this is a big animated Cuckoo Clock. This is a "Froelich Wanderer No 3883" made in Switzerland by Reuge. The case is 18" tall by 14" wide by 9" deep and runs on three large weights. When the hours are struck the cuckoo bird comes out and calls out the number of hours with a gong striking along. Then the dancers spin in a circle while twirling along with the music box playing "Adelweiss".
