We are pleased to offer an exceptional Robert Leblond made long case clock with chinoiserie lacquered case. The clock is in working order and has original weights and pendulum. We have the clock running and seems to keep good time although the pendulum is not straight and rubs the back of the case slowing it down and stopping the clock after a while. The clock also chimes every hour. The movement is in very good condition with little sign of wear or oxidation. As described by a recent estate Barbedienne or Christofle, Circa 1860 1900 Designed as a Chinese "spirit screen" hung with a cushion shape clock enclosed by two dragons (lung); the screen cast with an open-work of keyfrets, flowers, and curling vines. I did get it to work however it should be serviced and gone over as it probably has not been used for a long time. Still has a paper tag inside. Looks to be in good clean condition. Some of the lucite panels have some crackling along the edges as seen, The top piece has some light scratches. And there is a light scratch here and there on some other panels.
