eBay A 20th century Gazo second model “Santa Barbara” will clock.8-day spring driven time an strike movement with quarter hour Westminster/St. Michael Whittington chimes.Engraved Brass dial with porcelain markers and Roman numerals, engraved Brass pendulum bob.Second Baroque Style hand carved Walnut case with scrolled foliage crest over a single door with convex dial glass and shaped bevelled lower, flanked by foliate pilasters above a shaped modded drop with carved final.Case marked ‘’SB 709 W’’ which indicates “Santa Barbara, Serial #709, Walnut. Minor wear, slight fading, precise running.Height: 57 inches, Width: 17 inches, Depth: 11 inches.This the very well maintained and clean original Gazo Family made in West Germany clock. This grandfather clock was the pride and joy of my father who is no longer with us. He enjoyed lifting the weights each week and listening to the chimes each 15 min and on the hour. It is from the late 60's early 70's; made during the Cold War as the country of origin of the mechanical mechanism is Western Germany. <br />Anything of this age will show some signs of wear; however, the only noticeable item on the cabinet woodwork I can find is the nick on the front edge which is shown on the photos. 60s Hickory Dickory Dickory Dock Mouse Novelty Wall Clock West Germany Horolovar
Vintage 1960's Horolovar Dickory Dickory Dock Clock. Some call it a Hickory Dickory Dock Clock.24.5" tall6.25" wide across the base and top3.25" deep.Just had this beauty cleaned and checked. I am selling this for a dear friend.Her father purchased four of these, one for each daughter in the 1960's. This is the only one that remains.Made in Western Germany, stamped on the back, and produced by the Horolovar company. The Horolovar paper sticker with number 01793 is on the back.The clockworks themselves are marked (4) HOROLOVAR COBRONXVILLE NEW YORKMADE IN GERMANYThis comes with the original key which winds the clock works with the large shaft and moves the mouse with the smaller shaft.This is not a pendulum clock. It has a watch type movement.When the mouse climbs up to one o'clock at the top it falls to the bottom and rings the bell.All the original numbers are present and it is the original mouse.I took a lot of pictures with and without extra lighting.Please see the video. I can only post one video here, but if you need a video of the working clock movement please ask and I can send it to you.This runs about 5.5 days without rewinding. I have had several large clocks in my life for decades and I try not to wind to the end for fear of overwinding. I err on the side of caution. It may run longer.There are some age related areas on the clock and the pictures show them all. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.This comes with the original instruction sheet as well as a book from 1966 which gives the story of the original 1910 Elmer Ellsworth Dungan clock..This will be very well bubble wrapped and packed. Here's a vintage Emperor chime moon phase weight-driven Grandfather Clock. The beautiful solid Walnut cabinet is in MINT condition and the West German movement keeps time as it should. It chimes Westminster on the 1/4 - 1/2 & 3/4 hour and the complete chime on the hour with gongs for the hour to the hour. It has a working moon phase dial at the top. Howard Miller 612-218 Jennison Triple Chime Wall Clock?Western Germany?WORKING
The clock is in near perfect condition with the only flaws being some minor dust and maybe some light scratches on the glass. The clock has its original warranty instructions and key. The clock works perfectly and sounds beautiful! I have a video of it playing so please reach out if you would like it see it. The clock is fairly big measuring at 26" tall, 11" wide and 7" deep. Shipping will be very difficult but I will do my best to ensure it arrives safely. If it does get damaged make sure to leave it in its original packing and get pictures to help file a claim.
