This clock is in excellent working condition with very little wear! All the parts were examined,oiled and tested. It was only used occasionally for demonstration in a clock shop. It is an 8-day running cuckoo clock. It cuckoo's the hours and a half hour. It plays on a reuge music box after it cuckoos the hour. The music alternates between two songs, edelweiss and The Happy wanderer. There is a control lever on the side of the clock. In the up position the music and cuckoo plays 24 hours. In the center position it automatically turns off the music and cuckoo at 8:00 p.m. and comes on at 8:00 a.m. and in the bottom position the clock only runs with no music or cuckoo. The door opens and the cuckoo bird comes out to cuckoo and then the music begins to play and the dancers at the top spin and rotate and the four piece band at the bottom moves left to right repeatedly until the music stops. The main body of the case is 14 in tall by 12 in wide not including the pendulum and weights hanging underneath. It's a delicate clock case completely hand made and because of this I will ship the weights separately. Retail on this clock is around $1,800 (Condition: Pre-Owned)
