Antique Skeleton Fusee Clock With Seconds Dial , Signed Hyams Cornhill
eBay Up for auction is this very nice skeleton clock that has a name “ Hyams Cornhill “ that I could not find anywheres. There is no glass dome for this and there is a chip of rosewood veneer missing. I do not have a key but when I move the pendulum it runs and ticks for a minute then slows down guessing it needs to be wined . This measures 16”s tall by 9”s wide by5 1/4”s deep. Large Brass "Grasshopper" Fusee Clock For Repair.
Firstly i have not attempted to wind the clock as i notice that the fusee wire is loose although it appears to be connected to the drum. Everything moves freely but it is beyond my capabilities to try to get it to work.
