Authentic Grandfather Cuckoo Clock . Condition is Used but has been meticulously cared for and in excellent condition. <br />This clock is hand-made and was just being carved while we were vacationing in the Black Forest region of Germany and visiting the carver in his studio. We purchased it based off of the carvers drawing. He did not disappoint and we received it 4 months later. <br />This has an upgraded musical movement in it that plays three different songs beautifully in rotation, one every hour. Vintage Hand Carved Grandfather Clock German Black Forest themed
On offer this vintage very rare design fine grandfather clock with a beautiful hand carved black forest presentation theme Down below there are 3 very fine carved deer surrounded by pine trees. On both sides branches with bird and 2 squirrels, on top an eagle bird.Original Kieninger clock mechanism was made in Germany and is in perfect working order. Movement has a circle stamp with engraved AGK letters.Chimes every quarter, half and whole hour Hours plays with 3 different melodies and chimes can be mechanically silenced by 2 different LT and RT vertical rod.Little bit of history.This clock has been bought in Innsbruck, Austria in 1989. I do have original purchase receipt. Measurements: 87inch high, 28 inch wide (base ) and 18 inch deep.Eagle from the top, 2 small birds, from the both sides branches with pine apples pines and antlers from the lower deer can be removed for the safety transportation. Heavy and with local pick up will good to have additional hands.Clock was regularly serviced in professional local clock service centre.The clock sold as is. Authentic Hones German Black Forest 8 day Wood Chalet type Musical Cuckoo Clock
Hones’ cuckoo clocks are known for their elaborate detail and quality craftsmanship. They are handmade by skilled Black Forest clock makers with a reputation for high quality. This clock has the Association of the Black Forest Clock “VDS” certification sticker. “Made in Germany” is displayed on the dial. On the hour and 1/2 hour the cuckoo bird calls and the clock plays music (Edelweiss). The beautiful details extends from the front around to both sides of the clock. The trees are 3 dimensional. There are several moving features. A hunting scene which includes the hunter, his dog and a fox. Also there are two fighting bucks and the dancing towns people. There are three (heavy) weights shaped like pinecones. The pendulum as two painted birds. This belonged to my late father in law and worked fine. It needs a good dusting but I don't want to damage anything so I'll leave that to the new owner. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

This is the most amazing and spectacular antique German porcelain clock we ever came across. This museum quality 19th Century clock made by the Rudolstadt Volkstedt manufacturers in Thuringia Germany and the mechanical clock made by Lenzkirch in Black Forest around 1887. This stunning large porcelain clock shows three classical females doing net fishing with the help of six Angels. Below them four rams heads and the clock stands on four claw feet. Marked at the bottom. Condition is almost excellent with one chipped and repaired Angel wing. The Lenzkirch clock seems to be in a very good condition with missing keys.
