Antique J. Oswald Novelty Skull Desk Clock with Rotating Eyes Germany 1940's

eBay You are bidding on an antique J. Oswald novelty skull desk clock with rotating eyes, made in Germany in the 1940's. The clock is key wind, and is in working condition. The base is bakelite, the skull appears to be a painted cast material.The left eye represents the hour while the right eye shows the minutes, this of course provides some comic expressions during the day.The piece is 4 inches high, and 4 inches wide. The base is marked with the maker's mark and the words " Ges. gesch. Made in Germany". The skull chin is also stamped "GERMANY".The condition is excellent for its age, with minimum soiling and wear. These are extremely difficult to find, most are badly chipped and in non-working condition Please examine the photos carefully, and ask questions before you bid.
