Hebdomas Arnex 8-Day Brass Carriage Clock Cobalt Face 15 Jewels, Switzerland
This beautiful brass carriage clock from Hebdomas Arnex is a vintage piece that will add a touch of elegance to any room. With a rectangular shape and a height of 4.5 inches, it is a perfect addition to any desk, mantel, or shelf. The clock features a cobalt face with birds and flowers engraved on it, and a mechanical movement with 15 jewels and an 8-day power wind-up source. Crafted in Switzerland in the early 20th century, this antique clock is a rare find for collectors. It is made of high-quality brass with an alder finish and weighs 10 oz. The clock is wind-up and has Arabic numerals as the number type. It is an original piece from the early 20th century (1911-1940) and is sure to be a conversation starter. Original Antique Arnex Hebdomas 8 Day Miniature Carriage Clock. This is quite ornate. The enamel dial is beautiful. This measures 3 1/4" high, 4 1/8" high, including the top handle, which folds down. The case is marked on the bottom: ArnexTime company Swiss Made. The dial is marked Hebdomas Arnex 15 Jewels. The white enamel dial has bright blue numbers and 2 gold flower emblems. The decorative panels of the case are ornate & beautiful with birds on both sides. This winds easily and appears to be keeping good time. He has some scratches on the glass front and on edges, but nothing serious. This is really a beautiful clock. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

Runs beautifully for 8 days & is also keeping very good time indeed, winds & sets smoothly also & the only fault is the missing top nut. The Dial is a Fancy Ornate White Porcelain Dial with Silver Accents and Roman Numerals with Fancy Gold Hands and Open Escapement, Signed "Hebdomas 8 Jours". The Antique Hebdomas Carriage Clock is a mechanical 8-day clock made of bronze, featuring a French style design. Manufactured between 1920-1949, this vintage clock is a rare find for collectors of decorative items and clocks. With its intricate craftsmanship and historical significance, this Swiss French Frainier bronze clock adds a touch of elegance to any space with its presence.Up for consideration is this beautiful antique carriage clock it looks to made by De Frece embossed on the dial 15 rubies. Also embossed on the bottom which I have pictured it says De Frece Watch Co. Made in France. I believe this clock shows normal signs of ware for its age and has character as well as beautiful patina. Please view all the pictures and determine for yourself. It also depicts a woman laying on her back on the back of the clock. The clock measures roughly 3 inches tall x 2 1/4inches wide. The clock does work but because of its age and to ensure it continues to run for another 75 to 100 years service could be suggested.
