RARE 70's 80's Amelect Vintage Electronic Eye CL7402 Wall Clock LED Nds. Repair
Very rare & unusual clock from the 70's or 80's, small LEDs mark the hours/minutes while the second hand LED circles them, in the bottom section is a single LED that "swings" back and forth to simulate a pendulum. The clock is powering on fine and many if not most of the LEDs are lit but many are not, it seems about half of the "hour" LEDs are not lit, the minute and second "hand" ones all seem to light up.....this may be due to the switch used to set the hours is in need of a cleaning as when pressed it seems a little wonky (or the LEDs themselves may need replacing). This listing is for a vintage MCM AMELECT Electronic Eye Clock ts kind of like Mission meets the Atomic Age Serial No 00045 Model CL 7402. The Clock is housed in a very handsome wood case that has a Mission feel to it very clean and spare. The time display is a series of concentric rings comprised of red lights. The outer ring ticks off the seconds by the lights sequencing around the ring. The two inner rings light up for the hours and minutes. The bottom display is a semi-circle of lights that mimic a pendulum swinging back and forth as they light in progression across the display
